In 1869, German chemists discovered heliotropin, a molecule evoking the powdery and sweet softness of the heliotrope flower. As early as 1865, Alphonse Piver and his son Lucien knew how to sublimate this note in a creation with round, vanilla, and enveloping accents.
Thus was born Héliotrope Blanc, the archetype of powdery perfumes, whose fame has crossed centuries and continents, as far as the Caribbean islands, where its story continues to this day.
